Lions serve. It’s that simple, and it has been since Lions International first began in 1917. Our clubs are places where individuals join together to give their valuable time and effort to improving their communities, and the world.

4th of July Auction
Halfway Lion’s Club raised just under $4,000 in our 4th of July Auction that was entirely donated to supporting our EMT’S. That money was immediately used to train 2 new EMT’S for the Halfway/ Oxbow area. The Fair Board granted us free vendor space for the fair and rodeo and we raised an additional $2,000 which provided training for another EMT. In total we have raised $14,000 of our $20,000 goal and have provided training to 4 total EMT’S to protect our community. So far it has been a great success! Help us keep the momentum alive and donate today to supporting our EMT’S.
Lions History
Lions International history is a long one. And a proud one. For over 100 years, we’ve served with uncommon kindness, putting the needs of our neighbors, our communities and our world first. We look back at our storied past with pride, but we know it’s only the beginning. Every day, we’re building on our legacy with the goal of making an even greater impact in the future.
And We Are Just Getting Started
As we continue to move further into our second century of service, our commitment to taking action and making a positive impact on the world is stronger than ever. The over 1.4 million people who are Lions already know the power of putting kindness in action. But for those who are not, we encourage you to reach out to one of our 47,000 clubs and see how you too can get involved in one of the greatest forces for good the world has ever known.
